hireEZ Pricing in 2026: What It Costs vs Nova Recruiter

One of these products costs $494 a month before you speak to anybody. The other one starts at zero. That gap isn't a discount, it's two different products, and here's how to tell which one you're actually buying.

hireEZ Pricing in 2026: What It Costs vs Nova Recruiter

How much does hireEZ cost?

$494 a month for one recruiter, with a 7-day free trial. That’s the entry price on hireEZ’s pricing page, and it’s the only figure there.

Nothing above that tier is published. hireEZ’s reasoning is that seats are still part of the model, but the price gets configured against the stack you’re replacing instead of set as a flat rate per head. It also runs a four-week verification before you sign, and points buyers at a worksheet that totals up what they’re already spending across their tools.

That’s a defensible way to price a consolidation platform. It also means the team number arrives in a sales conversation, not on a web page. For context on what a single seat costs elsewhere, we broke down what a LinkedIn Recruiter seat costs and how the Recruiter Lite comparison changes the math.

If you’ve seen a much lower entry price for hireEZ quoted somewhere else, there’s a straightforward reason. hireEZ used to publish a flat seat price and dropped it, because a single seat rate stopped describing what the product does. The cheaper figure still going around isn’t invented. It’s just old.

A vendor that will only quote after a discovery call is pricing against your budget rather than against a list.

What hireEZ is actually built to be

hireEZ used to be a sourcing tool and chose to stop being only that. That one decision is the whole comparison, and hireEZ doesn’t hide it: its own account of the shift is that a flat seat price stopped matching the product once the category moved underneath it.

Today it describes itself as an agentic AI recruiting platform built on your ATS, with an agent covering intake, sourcing, engagement, matching and screening, and scheduling. By its own figures it searches 1B+ profiles across 45+ channels and ships 40+ native ATS integrations. At that scale the profile count doesn’t decide anything, though: what decides your shortlist is the ranking sitting on top of it.

So the choice here isn’t who sources better. It’s consolidation against sourcing-first. hireEZ wants to be the layer that runs the whole workflow on top of the ATS you already own. Nova Recruiter is built from the sourcing layer up and expects to sit next to your ATS rather than wrap it. If you want the wider view of who does what in this market, we mapped the twelve categories of AI recruiting software.

Where the two products differ

These are the dimensions that decide a sourcing search, which is what this comparison is about. hireEZ also ships inbound applicant screening, talent market insights and event management, and those belong to the consolidation case further down rather than to this table.

Both products run multichannel outreach, and only one owns a network

Both products run multichannel outreach, which is worth saying plainly because most comparisons of these two don’t. hireEZ publishes email, SMS and InMail, and its agent drafts and sequences across email and text with automatic follow-up. Nova Recruiter runs Nova, LinkedIn, InMail and email in one sequence.

hireEZ has SMS and Nova Recruiter doesn’t, which matters if you hire hourly or frontline staff. Everywhere else the count runs the other way: four channels against three, and one of ours is a network nobody else can rebuild.

The difference that decides more isn’t the count. It’s that one Nova channel can’t be rebuilt by anybody. A message sent through Nova arrives inside a curated network of 25,000+ pre-vetted professionals who joined in order to be discovered. An InMail arrives at a stranger who didn’t ask to hear from you. Think of the staff engineer who’s kept her profile locked down since 2023 and deletes recruiter mail unread: she isn’t hard to reach inside a network she joined to be found, and she’s unreachable everywhere else. Those two are the same row in a comparison table and a different thing in practice, which is much of why passive candidates ignore most outreach.

Isn’t sourcing-first just cheaper anyway?

Per seat, almost always. Across a whole team, not necessarily, and that’s hireEZ’s counter rather than ours. Its case runs like this: recruiting is walking the path sales and marketing already walked, from a system of record, to a sprawl of point tools stacked on top of it, to one layer that runs the work. Hold a single line item up against that layer and you’re comparing the wrong two things.

The argument holds when the premise does. If you’re paying for a sourcing tool, a CRM, a scheduler, a screening product and a job board, consolidation can genuinely come out cheaper and simpler, and a single line item is the wrong thing to hold up against a whole stack.

It stops holding when there’s no sprawl to unwind. A four-person team with an ATS and one hard role to fill isn’t unwinding a stack. It’s got one problem and one budget line, and buying a consolidation layer to solve it means paying for intake, screening, market insights and event management in order to send some messages. That’s where sourcing-first wins, and it’s what Nova Recruiter is built for.

[!ACTION] Add up what you currently pay across every hiring tool before you compare anything. Count the contracts, not the features. If the answer is five contracts and a job board, a consolidation platform may genuinely win on total cost. If it’s one contract and one problem, it won’t.

Who is hireEZ worth $494 a month for?

Large talent teams on an enterprise ATS like Workday or iCIMS, with enough inbound volume to want AI screening before a human reads a resume, and enough separate contracts that consolidating them is the actual project. hireEZ also brings talent market intelligence, event management and SMS, and Nova Recruiter has none of the three. G2 lists it as an all-in-one solution, and across 264 reviews its users put implementation at about a month and return on the investment at around nine. For the team it’s built for, that’s an ordinary enterprise timeline.

It’s the wrong shape for three buyers:

  • Anyone hiring for one hard role right now. A month of implementation is a month you aren’t sourcing, and the role doesn’t wait for procurement.

  • Anyone who wants to evaluate before buying. A 7-day trial and no published team price means the evaluation happens inside a sales cycle instead of inside the product.

  • Small teams and agencies. Nine months to return assumes you’re consolidating enough contracts for the saving to show up. With one contract and one problem, there’s nothing to consolidate.

When should you choose Nova Recruiter?

Nova Recruiter fits when finding and reaching the right people is the problem, and when you want to start today rather than after a procurement cycle.

  • You’re a recruiter at a startup or scaleup where both sourcing volume and quality matter.

  • You’re a freelance headhunter or a small agency running several searches at once, and $494 a month per recruiter isn’t the shape of your budget.

  • You’re filling technical or senior roles where keyword search returns the wrong shortlist.

  • You’d rather the price tracked usage than headcount, because it scales by credits used rather than per seat.

  • You want to try the product before speaking to anybody, on a free tier rather than a 7-day trial.

  • You want reach into a curated network as well as the open web.

The bottom line

For a solo recruiter or a small agency, Nova Recruiter is the better buy: EUR 49 a month against $494, and no sales call to find out. For a team consolidating five contracts on top of an enterprise ATS, hireEZ is.

These two aren’t competing for the same job, and the pricing says so out loud. hireEZ starts at $494 a month for one recruiter because it’s priced as a replacement for several tools. Nova Recruiter starts free and at EUR 49 because it’s priced as one tool.

Buy hireEZ if the project is consolidation and you have the stack to consolidate. Buy Nova Recruiter if the project is sourcing and you’d rather spend the difference on the roles you’re trying to fill. And whichever way you go, get the number in writing first: we compared seven sourcing tools side by side and the ones that publish their pricing are a minority. If you’re still working out how much of the job can be handed to software at all, start with the three levels of recruiting automation.

Frequently asked questions

How much does hireEZ cost?

hireEZ publishes one figure: solo recruiters start at $494 a month, with a 7-day free trial. Team and enterprise pricing isn't published. hireEZ says seats are part of the model but that the price gets configured against the stack you're replacing rather than set as a flat rate per seat, and that it runs a four-week verification before you sign. If you've seen a much lower number quoted elsewhere, that's hireEZ's older flat seat price, which it stopped publishing.

Does hireEZ have a free plan?

No free plan, but there's a 7-day free trial on the solo tier. Nova Recruiter has a permanent free tier with 10 credits a month, and it doesn't ask for a card.

Is hireEZ a sourcing tool?

It started as one and moved on deliberately. hireEZ's own framing is that a flat seat price stopped matching what the product does once the category shifted. Today it describes itself as an agentic AI recruiting platform built on your ATS, with one agent covering intake, sourcing, engagement, matching and scheduling.

What outreach channels does hireEZ support?

Email, SMS and InMail. Nova Recruiter runs Nova, LinkedIn, InMail and email. hireEZ has SMS and Nova Recruiter doesn't. Nova Recruiter has a channel into a curated network, and hireEZ doesn't.

Which one is cheaper for a small team?

On published entry pricing, Nova Recruiter: a free tier and EUR 49 a month against $494 a month. But price only settles it if sourcing is your single problem. If you're paying for five separate hiring tools, the honest comparison is the whole stack against one platform, which is hireEZ's own argument and a fair one.

Does Nova Recruiter integrate with my ATS?

Yes, with 60+ ATS platforms, plus Gmail and Outlook. It's worth checking on any vendor whether the sync runs both ways, and whether the integration is on your plan or only on the top tier.
